When Liberty Insurance first started working with Sharry People Development, we were going through an enormous change cycle with the transition from Quinn Insurance to the new ownership. This brought many challenges, not least of which was how to continue to support the management and staff through these unsettling times. We wanted to provide development and training for the team but knew we had to be very sensitive to the individuals own feelings in this change period. I had met Tom Sharry from Sharry People Development and felt his concentration on the individual’s mind-set and motivation was a key element in what we at Liberty Insurance needed. The self-focus combined with the skills training we wanted to deliver looked like the ideal fit for what we wanted to achieve.

The initial workshop was delivered as a pilot on the topic of Personal Leadership which is Tom’s unique take on the “inside approach” to leadership and personal development. This workshop helps people access the mind-set and motivation to be effective in their work and life regardless of the challenges they may face. The workshop proved a huge success amongst our management and staff and was subsequently delivered across our three sites in Blanchardstown, Cavan and Enniskillen.

Sharry People Development is now an established partner of Liberty Insurance and deliver workshops on topics including Managing through Change, Influencing Skills, Coaching Skills, Presentation Skills and Communications Skills. All the workshops continue to receive excellent feedback.
